ABOUT US
Old Country Hemp Co. was founded in 2018 in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Our growers have over 20 years of growing experience, mostly cannabis, starting in northern California in the late 1990s.
We have partner farms that grow hemp in Colorado, Oregon, New York, Kentucky, and our home state North Carolina. We work with seed breeders with years of seed breeding experience in Amsterdam, Oregon, Colorado, and beyond.
Our focus is on testing and propagating new hemp cultivars for fellow farms. There are options for every size hemp farm from half an acre to 15,000 acres. In 2019, we have several new partnerships growing our seeds everywhere from Italy to Wisconsin.
We are licensed hemp farmers in the state of North Carolina and Tennessee and keep all required testing and records as required by our NC Pilot Hemp Program. We've helped new hemp farmers apply for and receive their licenses as well as offer consulting services for people just starting in hemp or those experiencing issues in their current operations.
